Welcome to the Circle of MA. A space to discover how to pause, reflect and breathe deeply into the heart of your essence. We live in a fast-moving world and yet the nature of life invites us to live with the intention that requires a slower internal pace.

When life brings its many expectations, in different forms, do you ever wonder how you will show up to it today, in this moment? What if you had regular moments in your every day to remind yourself of your innate design of wisdom, peace in addition to  joy? How would your life be different?

To understand the principles of MA is to live from your internal compass as it will nourish you in even the most challenging of moments. You may be wondering how do I know if I am in alignment with this energy source. It’s simple, you feel calmness, it’s easy to discern what is best for you and you take intentional action.


I remember a time when I was in a relationship that was difficult because our communication style was very different. For him a discussion, seeing things differently, was an argument. For me it was an opportunity to see something new however I noticed in my body I wasn’t in a state of MA. My stomach felt tight, speaking up and sharing my perspective didn’t feel easy, in fact, my voice sounded shaky and nervous when I did speak up.  Plus it was really easy to make him the bad guy because he was so negative and judgmental of what I had to say.

If the only thing people learned was not to be afraid of their experience, that alone would change the world.

Upon reflection, I could see the role I played in this dance and how I showed up to the conversation. I realized I wasn’t grounded enough to truly listen to him. It was more about what he was saying instead of really listening to what he was trying to say and keeping the conversation on the one issue we were coming together to discuss. The next time we found ourselves in a conversation I entered into this space, grounded, knowing I won’t be bothered if I keep myself centred and listened for the seeds of truth we could agree to. It was magical, I did not fall to his attempts to draw me into an argument, I was calm and spoke clearly and with respect. We both walked away with a solution that worked for both of us.

Living a life from the outside in with its whirlwind of activities and, in the expectations of others designs a lifestyle that restricts the essential space of MA that is quiet and wise and nourishes you regardless of current circumstances.

When you learn to understand the presence of MA in your life,  especially when you enter into what seems to be a difficult conversation with another, the feeling shifts into calm.

Here are a few ways to engage your beautiful essence of MA.

  1. Keeping your well-being a priority  in a difficult conversation is essential.
  2. Recognize when your mood drops, it is a reflection of how you’re seeing the situation in that moment.
  3. Listening to your heart and wisdom, you will discover what is true and feel compassion for others.
  4. An open state of mind helps you to stay curious and out of judgment of yourself and the other.
  5. Discern what is best for you in each moment.

As you enter an inner quieter space, you are opening up myriad ways of living your life with greater wholeness.
